    Exhaust dilemma

Currently my car has a CAI, 2.49 pulley, Afco dual fan heat exhanger, Afco radiator, Ford Racing TB, and stock exhaust

However I have a set of Detroit rocker cams, a 10% OD lower pulley, GT500KR injectors, & GT500 fuel pump setup just waiting to be installed.

My problem is I absolutely love the sound of the little m90 screaming its ass off and the fact that the car is so quite until you step on it, but with having a set of cams I'm debating if I should put some nice headers, no cats, and maybe a different muffler so you can hear the choppy idle.

Obviously with the extra boost I will be pushing, headers & no cats would make some more power, but more or less it comes down to which sound I want to hear more of.

    Thoughts?

Sorry. That's what I meant to say. 1 3/4. American Racing Headers. I was gonna do the 1 7/8 but after speaking with Nick, the owner, he talked me out of it. He said the 1 3/4 will flow to 800rwhp. I'm not going that far for I went with what he recommended. I got it with hi-flow cats and he threw in cat delete pipes as well. His cats are american made too. Not chinese like the other big header maker. Sent them over to Polydyn in Houston to get ceramic coated.

I don't have headers yet but I have a Ford racing X pipe and the Roush Extreme exhaust and I love it. One little blip of the throttle and everyone within 100 yards turns and looks!

Long tubes and cams are loud dude. If you go that route dont change anything else with your exhaust until you hear it. You may be wanting to quiet it down with some resonators. I know I did. Mine was stupid crazy loud, just gawd awful.

That is something I would like to have for when I race. Most of the cars in my bracket are crazy loud with staight pipes. I cant hear mine at all!
