Power Window function

Well I just got home from running out to lunch and now the power window motor stopped its up and down movement when you open/close the door. When you hit the switch it just buzzes now.

There has to be a simplier fix than running it to the dealer for a new window motor?

i had that happen in my 2008 and I was told by the dealer that it threw a code that my battery had at some point died, which was true...they just unplugged the battery for a few minutes and then it cleared the code and it worked fine....

Was something stupid. its fixed. Apparently the car had tint on it before I got it and the tech at the dealer missed what was near the bottom of the window. Car sat in the sun for the first time today for an hour and the glue that was left melted to the inner door window seal. Some goo gone and its done.
