John, great Vids. The title says 13 RS3 Shelby GT500. But arent you in a non Shelby GT with the RS3 vert?
awesome video! what software are you using for pic in pic? very well done...
Hey John or Joey,
Does Roush make a suede/leather seating upgrade package if you order the base GT with the Recaro seat option? If so, are there any photos you can share so I can see what it looks like?
By the way, great video!! Thank you for taking the time from your busy schedule and letting us get a better look at the 2013 RS3. I wasn't to sure in the beginning but NOW I know this will be the next Roush I purchase!

Thats AWESOME!! So glad to help! Roush doesn't currently have a seat package for the Recaros, but thats not a big deal. The Recaros are cool in their own way. You are also correct about the Base car being available with Recaros. I have 2 on order. Basically they are like a Boss 302 setup but with an RS3 that is supercharged. In other words, they are on the 301A package that gets you Sync, but not light up sill plates or Ambient lighting like the Premium, and the Recaros are cloth. But it comes in about $3,000 less than the Premium package. It is setup with Performance Brakes and all the Performance stuff, but not all the premium content. Let me know if you want to know more about those or spec one out.

10Roush427r...nice to see your looking at getting the 2013 RS3...congrats...if you go through john he can get it shipped directly to you from Roush...plus he is great to work with...
xtrm5xr have you ever had a black car? I love the looks but I drive down to many back roads... the black would drive me bananas... I would be stopping every stop sign and clean... John is trying to put something together for me... I'm going to stick with the white.... I just love the color and it's easy to keep clean.... it only shows dirt if you touch it.. lol so hands off!!!! I dont think the wife is to happy... she keeps saying I have two choices???? what's that about? haha
Walker my 2008 GT/CS was black. For me washing my car is relaxing so I don't mind doing it. As long as you don't wash in direct sunlight and us the air to blow where it hides no issues. Helps of you have a good wax too. With this car I will need to come up with something to keep the water out of the engine bay with the new hood vents. I have some ideas but will do some r&d when I get home. Here in the PI I can get it washed/ vacuumed/waxed for about $5.00. I don't have a garage here so hard to do it myself here.
Think I agree with you. Im in Las Vegas, and black would be very difficult to keep looking good. Besides blistering heat, the cars all get a nice coating of dust with each drive. I had a hard time deciding colors, liked the Deep Blue, but same issues. Silver is too common here. My 2 coices were the metallic gray and white. Maybe add a pair of blue stripes down the hood to break it up a bit. My wife isnt real happy with my choice of cars either. But Ive always wanted an American muscle car and now I can afford it so why not. Life is short, enjoy!
Thank you!! I really like all the features that the 2013 comes with:
LCD multifunction display
The new Roush interior package (I only wish they made the RS3 suede/leather as an option for the leather Recaro seats)
New Roush gauges and boost gauge
New rear tailights
New rear fascia
New front fascia (with the exception of the hood scoop)
HID headlights w/ the 2 white LED strips
etc, etc, etc, etc........
I would certainly like a chance to work with John (I've heard nothing but good things) and if I did it probably won't be until to the end of the year when the discounts are more deeper. I usually wait a little while after a vehicle hits the dealers so I can get the most bang for my buck. The last three vehicles I've purchased were a 2004 Mustang GT (40th anniv.) for 9K under MSRP, 2008 F150 Limited Edition (#2148 or 5000) for 12k under MSRP and my 2010 Roush 427r for 10k under MSRP. I've also gone back recently (2 months ago) to the same dealer to work out a deal on a 2012 RS3 and I told him that I wanted the same deal that I got on my 427r which was 10k under MSRP with 1.9% financing. All my salesman could offer at the time was 10k off and 5.9% or 7K off with 1.9%. I told him I would hold off for now. I'm glad I did because I would have buyers remorse after watching John's video.
