Just to let everyone know that the Rockingham Speedway is back open and the wonderful sound of race cars are speeding around the place everyday. Our SSF partner, 1995 ARCA Champion and former NASCAR driver Andy Hillenburg purchased the facility at the end of 2007 and is bringing racing back to the ROCK! The first race will the Carolina 500 ARCA race on May 4th, 2008. And if you are a race fan you ought to try and make this one. Largest ever ARCA purse and they are gonna start 50 cars. That alone is going to be worth the price of admission. 50 cars taking the green on a 1 mile speedway. From what they are telling me several former NASCAR drivers will be in the field, plus the superstars of ARCA and I believe ROUSH is entering a few cars. Should be a good show.
