Yes you should clean your pads after every use and don't use different products on the same pad. You can wash the pads with Dawn dish soap by hand or throw them in the washing machine with normal detergent.
That is very good info! I know quite a few people who just rinse the pads and then use another product on them. I just stand back and shake my head. I buy new pads every few months and just use the old ones for other things besides on my vehicles.
