That'll work. Generally anything that has an in and an out threaded fitting, keeps the system sealed, and has a halfway intelligent drain system will work.

I did a Stef's catch can with a -10AN inlet. Plugged the intake and intake manifold PCV hose attachments. Had Joe weld -10AN fittings onto my valve covers where the stock grommets and tubes used to be. Aeroquip push-lock hose comes from each, Ts together, then goes to the catch can with breather. Since I've got the intake manifold and intake tube plugged my tuner said I'm AOK to run the breather filter on it "open system."

Looks pretty good, I have to figure out some way to support the hose (-10AN is about 7/8" so you can imagine how much drape it has) before I show it off. Looks pretty shitty in my mind right now but works good. I drained it after a week to see what was in there, maybe 1/4" of fluid. I'm guessing it would take the better part of the summer to fill it up to the level of the fitting where I would imagine it wouldn't fill anymore.

Hardest part about the job was ordering the correct fittings and planning it out in my head, then making it look halfway decent while keeping everything on a slight down angle so I don't get oil pooling in the lines. And finding someone who could tig weld the fittings to the valve covers in a good looking way.
