To me all these ideas seem like the right way to go. I do prefer the Road coarses, and short tracks over the Speedways. I HATE the Daytona, Talladega races with the plates and have to have a "push". racing is about set-up and driver, not who pushes you.
I haven't watched NASCAR for a while but did watch DP and some Le Mans racing this weekend.
I thought the COT was stupid on the fact that all the cars look the same. let them be different in the front, As long as the heidth is the same the look doesn't matter for safety.
I have to agree with the Nation Wide series as well. I agree with Cup driver's running a few races in the Nation Wide series but not for points. It's good for the rookies to run with the pros a few times and get some learning in there. Just not the whole season and for wins, (even if it is Carl Edwards who is one of my favs)
Bottom line is if the Big Three aren't on board, then maybe honda and some european manufacturers will join up and the big three can move on.
how about a new series, or bring back an old, that does use the Pony cars.
