On the rear you can go with a 305, 315 or maybe even bigger. What you have to watch is the overall diameter of the tire. Our stock Coopers @ 275/40/18 have an O.D. of 26.64". Compare that to 285/35/18 = O.D. 25.91", 295/35/18 = O.D. 26.20", 305/35/18 = O.D. 26.42" and 305/45/18 = O.D. 28.80 just to name a few. Spend a little time on @ Tire Rack - Your performance experts for tires and wheels and you can find the info you need.
