Welcome to the site. I believe that the Pony badges are bigger than the Roush ones, but it shouldn't be a big deal if you're careful and polish the surface first.
Is your car a V6? The reason I ask is because you said you have the pony package. I can tell you personally that the Roush Cold Air Intake for the V6 cars really does make a difference.
