Thanks guys!! I appreciate the compliments!! It was just so beautiful, hard not to get a great shot, ya know?
As far as the butt shots, glad you enjoyed them! Give me another couple of months in the gym and maybe I'll try a double butt shot!

Not an easy task by any means! One of my good friends tackled Longs Peak this summer with 2 other people and she was the only one that made it to the summit. It's on my list of things to do some year!

Thank you Carmen - I hope you make it out here someday soon - it would be awesome to meet you! I still think you should consider next year's MAA trip!!

Thank you Mike! And...you know - I thought those darn labels were etched on there until I looked closer after you posted this note. Voila, stickers are gone now!

You know that they say, "You can take the girl out of Iowa, but you can't take Iowa out of the girl!" Or something like that!
Our leaves are still pretty much a deep, dark green here....with only a few tinges of color beginning to show up....we should have a late autumn color season, as we have yet to have a killing frost. Which suits me just fine, as I'm think I'm becoming allergic to cold weather and that white stuff that always seems to come along with it!

HA HA Dave!! Well, I thought of you and Iowa when I took that pic.

Things are just starting to turn down here too. I'd say another week and I might be able to snap a few more shots in the neighborhood or maybe the yard. We'll see how much Mother Nature cooperates. I went a couple weeks ago, intending on getting some pics and got into a rain storm. I was SO MAD after spending 3 day detailing my Roush, you can imagine the shear horror of it all, besides that I had to figure out where the windshield wipers are located!

Yesterday's bright sunny day and blues skies were just perfect timing. It is cloudy and about 48 degrees here today - glad I went yesterday!!
