Thumbs up New dyno #'s

I went to dyno my car yesterday.....my mods since last time are a prochamber instead of O/R-X, powerpipe and ice in the cooler. Went from 305rwhp/349rwtq to.....
322.7rwhp
369.9rwtq
Not to bad for a non pi head 2v.........Im gonna be looking for some 12's and a better hook next time out....

How you like your ProChamber? Nice gains between it and the powerpipe I'd say

I prefer it 10x over the BBK o/r X POS I had before. It sounds more mellow and its much quieter, but still roars nice when I stand on it. To be quite honest I suspect icing the aftercooler had more to do with the gains than the poweripe and prochamber....however my torque comes in lower and stronger than last time. It was 300ft/lbs at 3100 and now its down at 2600....so I have a feeling thats from the prochamber....I remember my first impression of the X when I put it on was it felt sluggish on the low end.

The PI heads are probably not in my future being that I have a complete motor from a 98 cobra sitting on my back porch waiting for me to build up. Im thinking headwork cams and a whole lot of boost. This will just have to do for now.

The better hook.....I need some lower 60's...remember last time out I was only launching at 3000....some 5k dumps and powershifting should put me will into the 12's...or the 7's at irwindale. I just need to get the rearend built up. Ive had enough of my car being on jackstands for prolonged periods of time.

edit: and that 1.72 60' I got it was bogging....its got a lot left.

Yup....Actually I do it after every run just to keep it consistent. The aftercooler kicks ass. I drain it, pack it FULL of ice and it gets really really cold. When I started actually filling the whole thing up with ice, my mph went from 105ish to 108.

I drain it untill there is maybe 2" of water left in the water box thing, pack it FULL of ice and leave my hood open throuh the staging lanes. Ive found it heats up way too much with the hood closed. I also stick a bag of ice on the powerpipe and right ontop of the plenum at the TB.....seems to work well. What times are you running BTW?

You are really hurting yourself, IMO, by not getting PI heads.. they flow so much better than the 96-98 heads its insane.. Id say atleast a 45 - 55 rwhp gain, minimum.

Good luck with the car, it looks great.

Thanks Ryan......I know.....I know......I just cant see sinking more money in this one when I have a 4v on my back porch waiting for forged internals.
