Question Roush 18x9 99-03 Argent Wheel for '98

Looking for some feedback/info:

Is anyone running with a 18x9 '99-'03 wheel (28mm offset) on a 94-98? Will a 295 tire fit without rubbing? What size tire do you have in the rear? If you are using a spacer what type and size?

Thanks for your reply, I am looking forward to mounting some of these bad boys up and want max rubber without the rub...

PJ

03 wheels

I think you should have no problem using wider tires on the rears, the wheel wells are pretty wide. I'm using 03 Cobra OEM wheels with 275/40/17ZR tires on my 95GT with a 7/16 spacer on the rears. No problem back there, but the front tires rub the sway bar slightly at full turn. I have to remember that at every 3 point turn.
I think the remedy for that would be adding 'bump steer' I guess.
Hope this helps you.
