I'll use quick bullet statements so make this clusterfuck and easier read.
1 month ago I noticed antifreeze under the car.
Took it to a radiator shop.
They replaced radiator, but said, "your car isn't running right and you have low oil pressure"

---but they didn't know what was wrong.
drove the car 2 miles and it started sputtering (losing power).
Oil pressure gauge was bouncing around.
Pulled over and it was dumping antifreeze.
drove to Ford. They said it was the cooling fan. The wiring harness had melted to the fan!
They called me a few days later. "Mr. Paradis, I have good news and bad news. The good news is the mechanic stayed late and fixed the cooling fan. Nothing wrong with the oil pressure, it was just a safety mechanism due to overheating. The bad news is, someone tried to steal your radio and cut your new convertible top".
Three weeks later I go to pick up the car (with its second new top). Didn't even get out of the dealership lot when the car starting running poorly again. Turned around and (this time) spoke directly to the mechanic. He said "oh I told the service rep. that you have low oil pressure and it sounds like bottom end damage".....WTF??
Ford kept the car for another week before I called to check on the status. Their response..."oh, we can't work on this car because you have a 32 valve swap and there it too much liability for us to work on these 'hot rodded' motors. We had all of our service techs look at the car and the consensus is your main bearings are bad".
I had to get the car towed to another shop! By the way, Sebastian, if you are reading this, the car is at Robert's Automotive. Thanks for recommending them. They appear to be very good.
Looks like I'll have close to $27,000 in a 98 Mustang GT!
STOP LAUGHING AT ME!!!!
Yup, just another day in the life of....
