Question Flowmaster 80 series mufflers

I just received my Flowmaster 80 series mufflers and Im not sure if they will fit or not. They look alot bigger than what are on the car. Has anyoner ever experimented with these mufflers with the roush side exhaust??

get ahold of Nemesis, he just added them to his car recently, I sold them to him as I found out the hard way that they don't fit a Roush Cobra.

FS, Side Exit Flowmasters

Sneak preview of what I've been up to!

I'd be happy to assist! Just let me know what it is your needing to know! I will say my install was on an 04... and I notice your in the 95-98 thread... I have NO experience with this model so I'm not sure how much less room you have or don't have

Cheers!

Yeah that was my main concern. The fitment that is. The problem that Im incountering right now is no one wants to touch the car. So it looks like Im gonna have to figure out a way to do this myself. Ughhhh!! Im starting to wonder if someone produces something like an oem exhaust setup for these roush cars like mine. If there is such a place I need to know about them!!!! Im beggining to second guess my buy, seeing as how the mufflers are like 3 inches longer than the stockers!

that only proves it fits on a 99-04 model... which was proved already with my 04! The ? at hand is whether or not it will fit on an earlier 95 model Roush!

I really don't see why it wouldn't... just not familiar enough with that style to be sure!

Cheers

I had them on my 98. They fit just fine.

I'm pretty sure they were 80 series.

Hey Gutboy, I see that you had to have someone weld the hangers on. Is that true?? How does it sound? Do you have a clip?? Ive been thinking about buying the mufflers that are on the roush performance website but they are 200 dollars a piece

I took the Flowmaster off. I have an off-road X-pipe and the flows were WAY TOO LOUD!!!! They would probably sound pretty good if you have cats. I went with the Magnaflows and they are still loud, just not deafening like the Flowmasters. Sorry, no clip.

BTW, I am sure my car is easier to lift than some of these lowered cars.....

On the 80 series, The in and out are on the same side. Usually used for side exit exhaust.
