My New Roush - 1995 Roush S3 #4

Here you go. After 4 hours of flying yesterday and 11 hours of driving home. It is a 1995 Roush S3 #4 (first year for S3). I will get some better pictures and details soon. I could not wait to share.

Man on man. What can a guy say that has not already been said. YOu likely have one of the rarest of them all.

Congrats on the find and that you were able to snatch it up. I know it is almost exactly what you have been wanting.

Thanks for the kinds words. I think i will keep this one a while. I got a lot of thumbs up, waves, and stares as i drove it home. I think i got more in this car than in my other Roush.

Here are a few pics from a car show today. Oh and RCobraShadow took home the prize for best car.

I will document the car with pictures after a full detail.

So this is what i know about it so far.....

Supposedly for the 95 S3's JR got #1, The VP of Roush got #2, #3 is in Texas and this is Number #4.

http://stage3.fortunecity.net/

I am going to try to get some more info from some Roush contacts and i am trying to get in touch with the previous owner. They only made 18 of these.

The car has 71k miles but has 3.73 gears. So depending on when they were installed the car actually has less miles. It has headers and catless x-pipe. Car sounds really good. It has a chip in it so it has some kind of custom tune (i am going to get that tune checked out). The dealer i bought it from changed all the fluids before i bought it. I will change the oil again and give it a tune up (plugs, etc...)

It has the Roush 5.0 intake and supposedly Roush worked on the heads on these early models.

I will let you know what it makes when i get it on the dyno.

Runs really good. The longer i ran it yesterday the better it ran. It sat in storage for a couple of years and was traded in on a new Roush S3 (same color scheme).

I have a few plans for it. And will keep you updated with anything i find out.
