question: i was thinking about getting an underdrive pulley for my 98 stang ...I've heard good things and bad things about them. I don't know whether to spend the money on it or not...give me some input please.

What mods have been done or are you planning on doing? You might see 5-10hp from it...

Cool

Had them on my 98 for a year or so. Good mod if you will never do FI. Supercharger or turbo.

Ran them in So Fla with no issues. Stock stereo.

I had them on another Stang I owned. Not worth it (IMHO) compared to other mods you can do. I'll never do that mod again.

IDK wat to do about the u/d pulleys because i get mixed answers even tho the majority says it is worth it but i'm still wondering if i'm gonna see that much of a difference...i have a K&N Air Filter, Nismo Performance Chip, BBK shorty headers, borla exhaust. SO would it make a big enougn difference so that i could tell when i drive it?

Your call if 6/10 H.P is worth it, you run alot of Electronics, have a big audio system? could be problmatic, same go's for the cooling system.

Its the same as pulling the snorkle off the filter housing. You might notice a diff but its less than 10hp for sure. Might not be worth the bloody knuckles

I need every tiny pony increase I can get but decided I would not do pullies...I need all the cooling possible as it gets hot here too... and I don't drive it everyday so I like to charge the battery as much as possible whenever I fire it up.

Hmmm... I forgot about the snorkel, I still have it on...thanks.
