Roush 18 inch chrome wheel set. This set includes (2) 18 x 9 wheels and (2) 18 x 10 wheels. Chrome Center caps are included. Backspacing is 21mm on 18x9 and 41mm on 18x10s. Wheels will fit 1994-2004 (Will not fit IRS cars). Both 18x9s and 18x10s have a 1.5 inch lip. PLEASE NOTE: On 2001 & 2002 production ROUSH Mustangs, the wheels had a raised ROUSH logo on one of the spokes. For 2003 & 2004 production ROUSH Mustangs, the wheels had a laser-etched ROUSH logo on one of the spokes.
Raised-letter wheels have been discontinued, these are laser-etched wheels. These are real Roush wheels and not replicas. We are an authorized Roush dealer.

well, i'm guessing the offset for the 17x8" stock Ford Mustang wheel for 1997 is around +30mm...

if you switch from the stock 8" wide wheel with an offset of +30mm to a 10" wide wheel with an offset of +41mm, the clearance from strut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 36mm LESS and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 14mm

FOR REFERENCE

the pic that Mustanger posted above has the 10.5" deep dish bullit wheels.
those wheels are 17x10.5" with an offset of +28mm.
if you switch from the stock 8" wheel with an offset of +30mm to a 10.5" deep dish bullit wheel with a +28mm offset, the clearance from strut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 30mm LESS and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 34mm

so, the Roush 18x10" will give a little less room between the inside edge of the wheel and the strut housing (6mm to be exact) than the above pictured 10.5" wide deep dish bullit wheel and the outside edge of the deep dish bullit wheel will extend 20mm out further than the Roush wheel.

so, to answer your question, if the 10.5" wide deep dish bullit wheels fit then the 10" wide Roush wheels will/should fit the 1997 Mustang GT.

The 18X10 wheels fit the rear if you remove the quad shocks or flip them to the inside. If you have roush lower control arms, the quad shocks are useless anyways. You can also run a small wheel spacer. 3/16 - 5/16" will cut it. Also, check the tire near the emergency brake cable. These are the only areas where it poses a problem.

Hope that helps ya

lol

i have a 97S2 GT.... its dropped pretty low. i managed to get a 10 X 18 '05 Roush wheel with a 295/35/18 on it. The quad shocks were cool.... but i did rub a bit on the inner fender.

nothing a sledge hammer couldn't fix.... i beat the shit out of where it would rub, threw a little rustolium over where i massacred it. she's low and mean now... that was about 3 years ago.
