Headers install is it worth it? 96' Roush

The only thing im missing in my exhaust is headers... I have heard for a 96' Mustang you have to unbolt the motor and rock the engine to fit a new pair of headers in. Is this true? Would it be worth it for my setup? I don't mind spending the money but if it would be a problem to install forget it. How much Rwhp do you think i would gain with my setup?

Cool

Age old question with the SOHC mustang motor ... I've always said 'unless it's Long Tubes' (LTs) it really is not worth it.
It's a pain, and a hassle that doesn't really net a lot of HP or Trq but it does complete the list of things to do. If the motors out ... sure, otherwise, I would sweat it. Hence the reason it's not on my mod list.

Yeah that was the really the first thing i ever did to any of my SOHC Mustangs. The longtubes help pick up a lot in the middle and upper rpm's. It is a pain in a butt, but someone that knows what they are doing can have them put in no time. A lot easier with a lift and the transmission out.
