question...!!!

I just got the "R" badges for my roush and am replacin my gt badges...ok here's my question: When i take the Gt badges off will it take paint with it? (My car used to be red) and what is the usual process for doin this properly? thank you!

No, it shouldn't anyways.

To remove-heat up the emblems with a hair dryer or heat gun (set on low) and gently pry the old ones off. There will be some of the tape left behind, warm that up and peel it off with your fingers. Before you apply the new ones, make sure you clean off the surface with rubbing alcohol. A good tip too would be to apply some 3M adhesive promotor, available at an auto paint retailer like Painters Supply (http://www.painters-supply.com/paint...STATE=Michigan) That stuff really makes it stick!!

my thing is i'm wondering if the people who had the car before me when they painted the car black got under the emblems....the roush badge isn't as big as this one is, so my thing is will red show when i put the roush one on? Then i gotta have it painted over...

Does it look like there is paint on the GT emblem around the edges, like it was taped around it when it was repainted?
