Well hello there.
Hey everybody, I'm just here for my annual visit! haha I've been a little busy....I pulled the 400 small block out of my 70 Chevelle and stuck a healthy 396 in it instead.
Also, I've been much busier, and looking forwards to....my Fairmont build!I won't bore you with pics, unless you want to see them....but remember the wrecked, non repairable 98 Stage 1 Convertible that my parents went down to Florida to pick up? Well, I bought the stuff they didn't use, basically all the non Roush stuff, and am transplanting it into my old 78 Fairmont, the Montstr....so far, it's going beautifully, both cars are stripped, All I have left to remove from the Cobra is the dash, and the wiring harness....The rearend was swapped last night to check wheel fitment, and it's S N U G! I may be on the lookout for higher offset wheels, we'll see! Dropped both engines out the bottom, and I will be out of town for the 4th unfortunately, so I won't get anything done this weekend, but I am going to temp. bolt the engine and tranny in so I can check wheel offset, see it the wheels will be centered in the wheel well, and also measure for the new driveshaft.... After that's done, the engine will come back out, I'll get the dash swapped over, including the hydroboost brakes and pedal box, and the A/C! I am hoping to have the harness in and have the engine ready to get final assembled within about 10 days....which is really pushing it, because I'm driving this car to the Car Craft nats on July 25th!!! I started on June 18th, so less than 2 weeks in and re-assembly has begun. Even the seats bolted right in! So, I'll have black leather seats in my car, with driver power. And since I'm keeping the Cobra harness, I'll also have cruise and anti lock brakes! I'm REALLY looking forward to getting this done, I feel bad taking apart a Roush, but it's better than having it squished! And as far as the body kit goes, well in the pics I posted last year, you can see my parents 97 Stage 2 Cobra vert is complete now, and my dad just picked up the new parts they picked up last year, and as soon as he gets tires for the spare set of 97 Cobra wheels, they'll have a metallic green twin to the white one! It's a 95 GT auto convertible with leather, the thing drives like it's brand new! Mom wanted one to drive since Dad didn't want to drive the Cobra much anymore! So, within a few weeks we'll have that one all put together, so although it's not real, it will look fantastic! Well, sorry for the book, talk to you soon! Justin

Actually....I'm gonna need that console back....hahaha
No problem, I'm glad you got it safely! I had no idea I'd be using any interior stuff at that point, luckily we didn't get rid of more! Now I have to round up a console to buy. :P Well, I better get to work, I"ll post some pics up when I get a minute. Thanks, Justin
