    Cool

Not many left ... but, there is still interest by some to pickup an old school ROUSH to 'play' with. Unfortunately, I just don't have time.
Matt you might be the Lone Ranger, as most have moved on or out of ROUSH.

Well that sucks. Good thing I was able to find such a great car to carry the torch with.

ok Matt...I have not done the side exhaust or the back bumper cover yet because I can't clear the garage break point from the driveway. I am researching adding an air suspension component to raise it up 3/4" to go in & out but be able to drop it back down. I don't want to lose any handling ability either...

But I think I can scare up a few recent pics...it DOES get a ton more compliments just as it is!!! Then I think even the 360R's didn't come with side exhaust....optional I'm sure though.

( Once again for the Clone Acceptance Challenged.... I always inform them it is not a real Roush! LOL....)

Well gents ... I am a new comer and here stories of a more fun site. From where I sit, I think there was a stronger bond on the pre S197's. Fewer Roush vehicles out on the street and the ones that were were more unique then a Roush car of today. Because of that I noticed a tighter nit group when looking back at the posts from back on the day on FNsweet. The flood of 427's ect has watered down the exclusivity of a Roush vehicle. (not trying to offend anyone .. my car is not even a Roush)

Now with the 5.0's out there and the New Shelby ... the Roush vehicles have lost some sparkle. Us 05-09 guys will have the same feeling as you pre '05 guys shortly .. heck ... it is happening already.

Walt, guys like you have always made it fun around here. Talk about HP is always fun but post about non car things keeps things interesting. It is on these post where you learn about the individual behind the screen name. (Word on the street is you ran off with Ikandy. She left the site right after you ... just saying)

Like everything there is an ebb and flow. I am not sure if the site was on fire when I was going thru all my mods last year .. or it just felt like it was because selfishly I had a lot going on .. but it appears we hit a wall around the holidays last year and never bounced back.

There are still a handful of guys on here that post often and bring some good info on to the site. It is just few and far between.

Maybe we need a good old fashion get together

I like the way you think Walt. I have the same problem. If it is just me in the car and I have an empty gas tank ... clear sailing. Full tank of gas and a big dinner .. scrape. it is annoying. it is my exhaust. Right by the X pipe. Maybe I need a new house as well.

Yeah I think you hit it all pretty accurately....hard to keep the sparkle I think....I do see a lot of good info now...but I remember 100-200 posts in a night! We seemed to have been involved in each others lives to a greater extent...and a camraderie bonding with a lot of give & take. It still is a good site though I lke it & read it but not much inspires me to post nowadays.

You are one of the good guys that would have fit right in & been a family member instantly! I always look for your threads & posts with anticipation. !!! Kudos my friend and I DO consider you my friend! Sure love reading about your exploits on the track & latest things...you are ENJOYING your "Roush!"

A old fashioned GTG would help a lot!!! Also Sam needs to spend more time on here & help keep it going somewhere...lol, or stir up a ruckus ...we need our irreverence & family rejuvenated. Can't describe it exactly...maybe just me?? Maybe certain things only happen once in a while for a short time....then change has occur.
