Anyone get their b/o exhaust tips yet??
I think Roush was supposed to start sending out the backordered tips last week. I was wondering if anyone has received theirs yet or heard anything? I'm getting my kit painted tomorrow and will be ready to put on the exhaust. So I hope these tips come in very soon!

Well I called last Thursday and talked to Joe. He said the tips were at Roush but they haven't been checked into the warehouse yet. He said they would be shipping them out on Monday. Well I called yesterday and he told me that they were still sitting there in the boxes and haven't been checked in still. Man I wish they would just send is our tips!!!

I don't understand why they don't know if they have started shipping them. This really sucks to know that they have them at Roush after waiting for like 3 months!!

Update
I just got off the phone with Eric from Roush. He said some of tips got shipped out yesterday and some got shipped out today!
 Hopefully I still get them this week.

Deathvark-Post that pic on here to make sure that you aren't missing those flanges either. So can tell Eric when you call there.

have you figured out what are those U-looking-clamps for ?
on the picture they are on the very right in the packet ? thanx, max

Eric is sending me the instructions with the flanges, but I think the U-clamps go where the intermediate pipe connects to the muffler. I know 2 more u-clamps hold the tips on. I would say those come with the tips.

cool, but i doubt mine will be here till Monday, that's when i get my stuff from Roush - no matter when they ship it Mo,Tue or Wed ...

oh, and i belive our tip comes with the clamp on it already, now i'm looking at my parts, and the only thing i cannot locate is those 2 big black things, that on my picture are next to u-clamps - i think they are under muffs, probably...

I've seen that pic too. I got underneath the car and it looks like that setup is a little bit different than ours. It looks like it uses special brackets to mount the mufflers,ours you just use the stock muffler hanger bracket. I have my car up on jack stands right now. I am just gonna save some money and do the kit myself, it looks like a pretty easy install. I will definately take it to the muffler shop to get the tips welded on. I've heard from other people not to get the intermediate pipe welded.

The two black brackets use 2 holes where the stock ground effects were. It holds the rubber things that are used for the hanger on the exhaust.

ok, i have just got off the phone with Eric, he said he didn't know, if the tips have been shipped yet, whether they have been checked in or arrived at Roush.
I mean, everybody there talks about it, but nobody knows for sure, that's what he said.
