Bad news about b/o tips
My fiance called Roush earlier to see what was going on with the tips. Now they say the tips that came in were for the 99+ instead of ours. They said that they were supposed to be here 3 weeks ago and they didn't know what was going on. They are suppose to call us when they come in.

I read about the tips here on FNSweet long long ago, and ordered my side-skirts without cutouts, and went with rear exhaust.
I didn't want to deal with the headache  Hope ya' hear from them soon man

Tell you what guys. I was in your collective shoes last year. Some truck guys use the exact same exhaust tips that 95-98 Roushes do. I combed through a "Truckin" magazine (God forgive me) or some other rag and sure enough I found a company ad that offered them (looked like'em anyway). Might check it out as an alternative.

Man I want to do something. This really sucks. I can't believe I ordered back in January and still haven't got them yet. I wonder who really does make the tips for Roush. I've heard Borla? Anyone else hear that??

hmm, i looked in most muff shops catalogs, trying to do the same - find something, that looks like those tips, never checked the trucks though

BDR said Borla WAS making them, but not anymore...i wish they were still making them, at least Borla wouldn't have us wait for over 3 months...

Borla does NOT make them and they never have in the past. I don't know why they insist that they do. Even when I called they said that they made our tips. This is not the truth. The whole exhaust tip situation sucks. I was told they were in and so were alot of others. They were supposed to be here on the 16th of April. It's just another example of our vendors totally missing the quoted delivery time. There are only a few vendors who do a great job. One is Classic with the leather seats (no problems even on special orders.) The shifter/sill plate/throttle body plate/headlight knob manufacturer is pretty good also (a few minor probs.) The worst is Prime Wheel. All they do is blow smoke up our butts. I'll tell you what guys, when the tips get to me I will express deliver them at no extra charge. Just trying to make the best of a really crappy situation.

just got off the phone with Eric.
UNCONFIRMED word, they are at RPP, but he hasn't seen them yet. Hopefully they will start shipping them Monday. Monday will update  ordered my subs today, hehe, getting slicks as well, so don't wonna lose my axel at the strip Max
