Got exhaust installed finally!

I just got back from the muffler shop. Man does the car sound good. It sounds so much better than the flowmasters I had.

I had the passenger side on fine. I couldn't get the drivers side to fit right so I took it to the muffler shop. They had to weld a 3 inch piece of pipe on to make the exhaust fit right. The tips were too far back, the intermediate pipe didn't want to fit to the muffler right, and the hanger wouldn't fit on the isolator. The extra piece they welded on fixed all of this. They also welded my tips on too.

It looks pretty sweet. I will post some pics sometime next week.

Sweet man. So was your pipe too short factory? Or does your stang have some kinda of weird wear and the exhaust is a little off?

The Roush exhaust was too short. I have a bassani x pipe on it. That shouldn't have made a difference. The passenger side went right on.

my car is still in a body shop - they had some problems with painying the hood - it was used, and whoever had it , painted with shitty blue paint, so it was "bleeding" through the new white paint
And now it's Mem Day, so they won't continue till Tuesday.
The car will go on the lift Tuesday to take the old exhaust out and put the new one - i'll let you know how will it work out

right after the body shop i'm taking it to alarm guys to install alarm - and i will make sure to write down the milage be4 dropping it off !!!!!

oh, and how much was that "little" fix ?

$30 to weld an extra piece on there and to put the drivers side exhaust on. Not too bad.
