Car won't run after intake install

I got the 3 piece intake installed and the car started okay cold and ran. After I turn the car off it will restart but won't idle and just dies. If I disconnect the battery and leave it for half an hour then I can start it and it idles until I turn it off again then it won't idle when restarted.

Any ideas?

Richard.

Is it possible that your gaskets are not set correctly and a leak is developing after warm up?

I would also recommend checking the MAF was not damaged and the connector is secure. Try replugging the connector. The computer may be thinking it's getting less air and not providing enough fuel to stay lit.
