New to the Site Just Checkin in and Sayin HI
Hello All,
Just picked up my first roush car. Not a bad little ride either. Its a 2000 Prototype s3. Ive been talking to a few roush engineers and there telling me to leave the car stock or "I'll BLow My Motor"
Thats there answer for everything. I read a few of your guys posts and realized that may not be the case. Trying to pick up some more power without popping the motor. Any ideas?

Just got the car a few days ago, so no pix yet.

It should be by the shifter...welcome to the site man! Get some pics up ASAP!...

Since it is a prototype.....what kind of hood do you have? Does it have a 3 on the back....how did you get it?

I believe the lettering and numbers didn't come out until mid-'01 or there abouts so I'd say no. He probably has the old 4.5" logo on the rear trunk lid like mine

It has the normal s3 logo on the back I got the car form Future Ford It was one of the Roush Reps Cars. Its a 2000 S3 Premium Performance Red Hard top. The hood Is wierd Almost like a v6 hood but different. That didnt make any sence but if I had to describe it id say that is is a cross between a v6 hood and a 99 cobra hood. Ill get some pics up asap

What kind of power plant? Is the supercharger under the intake?

I thought I saw a prototype on here with the m90 underneath, much like the FRPP set-up.

How does that thread qualify as a heated debate?

That car looks like an early prototype, due to the pre 01 dash bezel.

The thread poster was stateing that S3's where For Sale to the General Public back in '2000. Ok when did Roush start installing/selling the fender badages anyways?

nice to see he took my advice and checked out the site. This dude has a nice car, and if I'm not mistaken, did great on the last wed night race at Sac. Hope to see you out there more often. Oh, almost forgot, we do run through November, so there are like 5 more wed night races.
