Question is this possible and effective?

I was wondering if this is possible on a 2000 v6 mustang and would it be the way to go?
Long Tube Headers
Off Road x-pipe
Shorty magnaflows (side exhaust)

the reason i ask is i've looked via internet for x pipes with and without cats for a v6 from bassani and other companys... but they dont seem to make ones for the v6? is this because of the stock headers or somthing else? i plan on replacing the headers any way. another question how much hp aprox would this gain?

thanks a TON for any information
-Brad

Mac Sells long tube headers with mid lenght H-pipes. As far as the X-pipe is concerd, it can be done as a custome weld. The V6 mustangs do not need a X-pipe because the exhaust is already balanced. The only thing that the X-pipe will do is make it sound like the Y-pipe with a Quasi dual exhaust.. As far as how much horse power made... I did a little Q & A on Exhaust for the V6 Mustangs. The Q & A only addresses the 3.8L and the 4.2L V6 Fords. We have a discussion on All Ford Mustangs just do a search on it.

MAC makes an off road H pipe to match up to long tubes for about $150. Silverstang is right...it takes custom work to get an X pipe made.
