Stage 3 guys........Anyone want to put cams on thier car?
Just wondering if any of you have thought about it and if you might want to go and do it!!!
There are some deal now going around and you can get cams and Comp Springs for $700.00  It shouldnt cost more than $600.00 max to get someone to install so for $1300.00 bucks you can gt mor out of your blower by making it more efficient! Gains expected at 6psi 30rwhp. Gains expected at 9psi 40rwhp. Also says torque should go up in the midrange to! Lets talk about it and I know what some are going to say

I am interested. More info would be helpful.
What other mods need to be done to accommodate the cams? Effect on computer. . . stuff like that-

with blower cams that are designed for maximum power, you'll need full exhaust, and tuning.

Drop in and go type of deal.
I talked with a guy that has the VT engines Blower cam and he is going to dyno soon but loves them. Pulls from down low to up top and really woke the car up hi said. You need cams,springs,and installer. Of course custom tuning might get you some more power . They idle fine,a slight lobe but not much. Run good. Give you more power.

If you cats on I would think so. If not you could get a smaller grind and take your chances and lose a little power up top as a trade off.
