Question Automatic To Manual

Hello,

I was wondering what i would need to convert an automatic 2000 v6 mustang to a manual 6 speed T56 Transmission? what other parts would i need besides the transmission and drive shaft to convert to manual? Thanks for any information you guys have.

Thanks again,
Brad

K, this is off the top of my head and from my GT Auto to T56.

Clutch, flywheel, throw out bearing, clutch pedal assembly, clutch cable, firewall quadrant, slightly modified manual cross member, driveshaft, custom chip burn, shifter, shifter ring and material.

That's all I can think of right now...I know there are more little things but those are the bulkier items.

I haven't done it yet...I plan to hopefully do it before I bring the car out of winter storage/before summer. I still need to get most of the major parts (clutch, flywheel, driveshaft, xmember, etc).

Oh yeah, one other thing you need unless you want to modify it, is the tranny harness itself. You can make the auto one work, but you have to modify it and it won't ever work for an auto again. I knew there was one other key part.
