Spintech now has a Roush exhaust and SFC's

I got to be the test dummy for Spintech. They installed their full-length Subframe Connectors, and then started out designing a direct bolt-on for side exhaust. It took a few hours(mostly cause they were making duplicates of everything to use as a template for mass-production) but fits perfectly well when done. There isn't that much of a crimp to clear the SFC. And boy do they sound great. Not as menacing as the Flowmaster 1-chambers I took off, but way better than the MagnaFLows. They are quiet on the highway(till you romp on it) and have NO DRONE whatsoever. I was amazed at that. When on the throttle, they are wicked sounding.

To the picture, the top is the Flows. I'd been asked about them before, so thats how they were hung. And below the new SFCs and exhaust. I'm going to the track tomorrow and see whats up.

BTW, since I was the design car, total cost: $0.00

That looks pretty good. Question: Are the SFC's compatible with a Torque Arm such as the one from Maximum Motorsports?

IF you're interested, the kit will be available in a few days. The subframes they already have. You can contact the owner, Ron DiDonato. Mention this and I'm sure you'll get the hookup.

Mike, I'm not sure if there are sound clips on the website. I haven't made one yet. But its louder than the regular Magnaflows. I haven't heard the Enhanced ones yet.

Mario, yes they took pictures of the car. When they re-do their catalog, it'll get a professional photographer. Also they are looking for dealers.

Doggiedoc, from what I can tell they don't come close to the stock control arm location, so they most likely would.

I guess that is one good reason to have a Rally edition. I don't have to worry about clearing the side exhaust. I love the subframes on this bad boy. I loved the side exhausts on my old highly modded 94 cobra, but taking the sub frames off definitely effected the rigidity of the car.

Now that I have a few miles int he car, I do notice a bigger difference. Especially on our bumpy roads. And I'm digging the new tone.

BTW, this is the third exhaust the cars had in a little over a year.
Wish I could make up my mind.

Nice. . . looks like you need a cross-over pipe (X) under there (unless that is a high flow H)

Do you know what the cost is going to be?

I've been seriously toying with going over the Spintechs

Yeah, it uses the stock Roush tips. Everything from the h-pipe back is replaced. Also Logan, I'm getting a new mid-pipe --------someday. I'll probably do headers around the same time though.

And now that I think of it, my poor car has had 4 exhausts in a little over a year. (stock, magnaflows, flowmasters, spintech) Sheesh.

I'm very interested in what kind if any performance gain this would have over stock

Its definelty peppier than the Flowmsters I had on it. But its been a year since I had the MagnaFlows so I can't compare those two. Manny has a BBK X-pipe on his Magnaflows, and it sounds similar to that, just a little louder. I think its a great sound under throttle.
