new & got some questions

I recently had the S3 bumper installed on my mustang, Cobra R Hood and the Roush spoiler. My questions are these:

- should i throw my billet grille w/pony back on there or go with floating pony effect?

Secondly, after looking at the finished spoiler, I noticed that the plastic pieces covering the old holes where stock spoiler was were not painted and so they look like crap and stick out really bad. I was wondering, what do you guys do? remove those pieces totally or get them painted to match the car? I can't decide which I would like to do more, i think it would look good without them there at all, but I also wondering what i would think if i got them painted so they are smooth and match nicely and then I may actually like it.

To answer your first question your billet grill will not fit the S3 bumper. However someone on this board did modify one to work. Most everyone is running w/the floating pony.
Second- get your Stanchions painted it will look so much better and won't cost much. The stanchions not only fill the holes where the stock spoiler used to be but they also support the spoiler and keep it from flexing at speed.

the grille will not fit? hmm... i sized it up and it looked like it might, but maybe not...

stanchions? thats what they are called? I'll remember that! how much would i be looking at for paint for the both of them? I can simply re-install them myself so paint is all i would need.

as for pic for those not having a clue what i am talking about, it must be the spoiler cause i would think most everyone would know what billet grille is. This is a good pic i found, i am referring to the 2 inner pieces that go between spoiler and the trunk lid, almost like small braces.

Your Ford dealer will be able to paint those for less than $50 I would think since they charged me a little less than $200 to paint my spoiler and stanchions. Good luck
