MAF or chip

AS of now my stang is running rich and needs a tune. So my question is should i buy a different MAF like a Pro M calibrated for 42lb injectors or should i just order a chip. I am using the stock meter right now but it is not calibrated. Would i be better to get the MAF because it can flow more and istn maxed out like the stock meter probably is. I am just tryin to lean it out so i can drive it to a tuner. Any help would be great.

Thanks

tune...if your were too lean I would be thinking a MAF and matched injectors(which will require a tune as well to dial it all in).
Is your car blown or heavily modded? if N/A then i would stick with a chip and have it leaned out that way. I have same problem on pump 87 gas...I need a tune.

blown..

Either way you're going to need a MAF, probably playing a big part on why its running rich, might as well get one and take it to a tuner. the Pro M is a good choice, especially if you're going to mod more to make more power, and an 80mm would be just about right for now and later also.
