Question 02' Roush problems?

I have been hearing a funky sound from the rear end when making turns at slow speeds? It is like the rear tires are rubbing? Does anyone else have this problem? I took it back to the dealer 6 times and they are telling me it's nothing, but I don't want to have something bad happen... thanks.

I've had that too

I've noticed every now and again that when I am reversing and turning, I hear a funky sound. I thought it might be the tires scrubbing or the suspension but I took it to a Mustang shop and he found it. It turns out that the panels on the outside (but still inside the car) of the back seats, under where the Jack Roush Edition stickers are on the side windows, had something loose inside them. He said Ford or Roush did not originally bolt everything as tightly as it should have and now something is loose. The problem went away that week and I didn't hear it for 2 or 3 months. Now it's back. Mess with the rear panels inside the car while you sit in the rear seats. Maybe that's what you have wrong and you can hear it if you play with the panel.

Actually, I have the same problem. When I am parking (only turning left - in or out) I hear what sounds like a rub or the springs moaning. I have been wanting to get under her and check it out.
When I took her in for the first oil change I told them about it and they did some work on the front end fender well to push it back a little but that did not help.
I am dealing with Westway Ford in Irving Texas and I see why they are no longer a Roush dealer. A number of issues so far that I am not pleased with, but I got one helluva deal on the car so I should not complain.
Anyone know who the Roush Dealer is in the DFW area and are they competent?

That would be Prestige Ford. They always seem like good guys when they call, and have plenty of good parts in stock too!
