Spintech Mufflers

Roush rookie here..............some say Spintech 2.5" split case mufflers are direct fit replacements for the Roush side exhaust, but Spintech tells me the mufflers won't fit and that I need to replace the Roush piping, except the tips, for it to fit right. Which is true? Hopefully I can just pull my Magnaflows out and throw the Spintech mufflers on without having to get new pipes. Your advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the warm welcome. This is actually where I read that the Spins are direct replacements, so then I try to order the mufflers and Spintech tells me I need to get the entire exhaust kit. My Roush exhaust is practically brand new (2 weeks old), so I don't really want to go and buy another.

welcome.....I don't have an answer....because when I installed my spins I also had a custom X pipe put in after my longtube headers I just installed....but, the original exit pipes (side exit) we're re-used.

I put my Spins in with Roush pipes- Direct fit. The Spin pipes move the tips too far forward to work with Roush side skirts/tips.

1) Yes, you need split case

2) Item # is 333 SCS

3) The cheapest I could find them is at Midwest speed for $99.50 per muffler. I bought from Midwest Speed and it ended up costing $230 for both shipped to my door. It took about a week for them to arrive.

Hope this helps And welcome!!

(Now, gotta get around to installing them...)
