Had a shop put in my Roush S/C. You can expect about 100+ more horses on whatever you get depending on your set up. I went from 260rwhp ish to 389rwhp with the S/C , smaller pulley and bigger cooler.

I bought the complete Roush S/C from DJ Trama who had an 02 380r with 9k miles. The S/C cost me 2500. and the install with the switched hood painted was 600. I have to give props to Joel on this since he hooked me up with the shop RaceRelated who did all the work for the price quoted, even though it intalled more labor then they expected since I got everything from the 380r. No simple bolt on job. So for 3,100 I am well hooked up. That also included the smaller pulley, upgraded computer, bigger cooler and dyno tunning. Yea I couldn't pass that up.
This month I am getting a new exhaust and a CAI with maybe a small 50 shot..... It's my birthday you know. ![]()

I supercharged my vehicle myself with a Vortech V1. It was very easy tapping the oil pan is easy with patience. Watch out when tightening the oil fittings onto the supercharger and tightening the hoses as they are VERY easy to break. Can you tell i broke some. Also make sure you go with the kit from Vortech that comes with the Superchip already programmed. I got a Diablo Chip that i had programmed but resulted in a few days downtime and some headaches. I didnt aftercool mine so you will be in for some electrical work for the water pump and battery relocation.
I would strongly recommend you do this yourself. If you are anything like me you will want to know exactly what is done to your car. It isnt hard at all. The instructions that come with the system from Vortech are not specific at all and actually my only complaint from the system. If you have any questions feel free to ask me. By the way you will love the result! God boost is great |
