Leather roush seat covers

Ive seen these covers on roush's site but are they just covers or is it to replace your current leather? Has anyone bought these? Are they hard to install?

The Roush seat covers come with new foam and they should be installed by someone who knows what they are doing.

I bought mine online, and had them at my door in less than a week. I contacted a Classic Soft Trim installation center for installation. They make the seats for Roush.

They take the old seats out, cut the old leather or cloth off of them. Remove the old foam, glue down the new foam, and recover the seats. It only took them about 90 minutes to do mine, front and back.

My seats

If you are somewhat handy and get the right tools you can do it yourself. It is a five hammer job though for the unitiiated. I have done a lot of reupholstery jobs on the vintage seats and this is actually easier in some respects, but harder in others.....more money involved is you screw it up.

In the end, Classic Soft Trim shops should do it pretty reasonably.

Does anyone know if these seat covers will work on the factory cloth seats that come with the V-6ers???

Folome how much did they charge you? Wander if there are any of those places in ohio? And why dont half the seats on roush's online parts section have pictures, who would buy these without seeing them first? Am i missing something here?

PS - I also see a $1500 set called nickel, anyone got any pics of what this nickel looks like?

$450 is not all that nutty compared to the price of the leather. Figure they have an all day job for at least two guys.

I paid $200, but it was done on the side. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink...

Also, remember that there are three types of Roush seats.

The old school horizontal stripe ones.

The 01 type with the big headrests and the solid color middle.

The 04 type with the new side bolsters.

If you have questions, talk to Roushguy. He was pretty knowledgable about the frames and seat types. Or just call Roush, I've never had a problem with them.

Cloth, leather, vinyl, whatever, doesn't matter, that shit's just gonna get ripped off so the new ones can go on. They're not just Vato Zone slip on covers

I believe you get the new headrests when you order the seat covers. Pretty sure that's the way it goes.
