Semi truck carnage continued...
Well after replacing the front tires I took my car down to the dealership where I work and put it up on the alignment rack and we found that the right front camber is off 2.9 degrees and the left front is off 1.9. This is supossedley the way the stage 3s come from Roush. No wonder my tires wore out so darn fast. Thats almost like having only 6 inches of tire on the ground all the time when your tire is 10 inches wide. So were yarding out the strut towers and repainting them. This is a common occurence even on stock mustang GTs from the factory according to our service shop.
Hopefully we can fix the front end from looking like this: / / \ \ To looking like this: || ||

I just had a friend adjust my camber out. He said that all GT's come with that much negative camber because it helps the handling....Let me just say there is a big difference in how it handles...using less negative is supposed to reduce wear on my tires...but I don't like the way it feels...So I ordered a set of camber caster plates and am going to see how well they work out...maybe I can find a place in the middle that I like.
