Just got my chrome wheels back

I just got my chrome wheels back from getting rechromed. Reason why I got them redipped was they were peeling and pitting. I opened up the boxes to check them out. They all look like they are brand new. I even got them back 1 week early. I was charged $100 a rim. I would strongly recommend this company if anyone is want to get there rims rechromed. Go to santaanaplating.com. I will try and post pics, but I am in the middle of moving.

It comes with a 1 year warranty. Give them a call if you have any questions, they have great customer service. They called me every other week to give me updates on my rims.

Your wheels were peeling and pitting? My rear wheels have a bunch of small copper spots all over them. Oddly the front wheels are fine. When you get a chance pics would be great. Glad to hear that it worked out for you. I hear a lot of horror stories from people who have had their wheels redipped.

I would like to see the results also as I have heard these tales of woe from others (regarding other re-chrome outfits).

Wow they have awesom prices! 7 Layers of plating and a full year warranty for 500.00 Shipped! What im confused about is does that also include if your wheels are just regular finish now (not chromed)?

I wouldn't guess the non-chromes would not make the price any different but then again what do I think I know?!

Thats a good question. I would give them a call. I guess that it would not make a difference.

how much did it cost to ship the rims? In your opinion was the workmanship better than when they came from Roush? Tom

Congrats on finding a GOOD place ... I'm still clueless with what to do with my piece'o'crap ruined rim now. If they didn't screw it up so bad I'd sent it in to this place here and get it redone, but its chunked.

Still waiting on pics! ... wanna see how it looks compared to Roush's .. maybe those won't flake/peel like Roush's will.

Well here are some pictures of my car and my redipped rims. If the pictures of the rims dont help you guys I will try to take different ones. If you do send them out to get chromed I would get the barrel polish. They polish the inside of the rim which really looks good with the new chrome. Please let me know what you guys think.

Those look really good dude! How was their customer service? How did you ship them (did you have to buy your own boxes) and what was the total time they were out? I sent an e-mail asking if they could do my rims (non-chrome), waiting for a reply from them......

Shipping from NJ was $135 for all 4 rims. As far as the workmanship all 4 rims look like they are brand new. It beats paying over $600 for a new rim.

Did you box up the rims or do you drop tthem off at a UPS store with the shipping paper they provide? If you don't mind, can you PM me the total price so I can let the wife know I'm gonna spend our vacation money, lol.....

I shipped them UPS. I never delt with them by e mail, always over the phone. They were really nice. I spoke to the owner before I sent them out because I read what happened to Cynicalcriminal and his rim at a different company. The owner reassured me that they would turn out good. They had my rims for about 5 weeks. Keep in mind that is a total of 2 weeks of shipping because I live in NJ and was shipping to California and back.

The inside looks just like the outside of the rims. I got the barrel polish so it would match the outside part.
