NPI Cobra R Hood Installed

But not painted yet. It goes in Monday, May 23rd
Really easy to put on, but after putting it on and closing it it was way below the fender (say3/8") so I got some washers to shim it up and adjusted the front hood stops and it is pretty well level all over.
There is a larger gap on the passenger side fender than the drivers side but not that noticable. I think the Dealer will be able to adjust it.
Overall I am very happy with it and it sure is different to drive.
Only one small crack in the vent area but not noticable unless you really look for it.

Good to hear, thank you. Ya I'm working on getting a new shipper our current one doesn't seem to treat everything that great during shipping. You can adjust the fenders in and out a few millimeters to adjust for some spacing.

That looks good. I've been teetering about getting one. I kinda like the 2000 R rear spoiler too. Good job - post some more pics after it's painted!!!

Search and you will see pics I posted after I got mine painted. I have had so much positive feedback its just unreal. My only complaint could be. The idiot wasing the car with the cup not in is in for a long hairdryer session with his coil packs.

Some guy with a civic told me that if you leave it unpainted, it will give you 10rwhp... try it out. Seriously though... I bet it will look killer when it's all done- sweet hood man.

Copy-cat...j/k. I like that hood for some reason Only comment I have about the hood is the engine bay looks almost empty with just a GT engine under there when you open it. Not sure what to do about that

You know I love everyone whom inquiries about the hood. But I will not kid you when I say I've had 6 people ask me how much additional horsepower they will gain from the product! But as far as the import mentalilty goes. 10 BHP for fiberglass, 25 BHP for CF.

Hood was $500 shipped but got a shipping discount because they sent more that one to the same address.
The hood is very well made, even the body shop guy said he hasn't seen a better fiberglass hood.
And the hood is about half the weight as the stock one.
BTW I love the look of it.
Now if I can only back the look up with some serious speed

I have had bot the FRPP Cobra R hood and the NPI functional cobra R. I am much happier with the look of the NPI hood. The NPI feels a little lighter then fords, and its pimp factor is too much.
