Question 380R Exhaust system

Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum but I want to thank everyone in advance for the great information posted to this site. I just purchased a White w/Blue stripe 380R with 290 miles on it. I do not have pictures yet because it is being shipped to Hawaii. I promise that I will get them to you ASAP. Can someone tell me if the 380R has the stock GT exhaust or does Roush modify it with their own?

Welcome,
First off, what an awsome car you are getting!
Second, The car will more than likely be outfitted with Stock GT exahust, The dealers will install the MagnaFlow Cat-Back or you can do it youself.
Congrats on your purchase and be sure to post up pics when you get the car!
Again Welcome aboard

Hey Sonicblue, Thanks for the welcome

Do you know what the differences between the 18" rims and the 17" rim have over traction, ride quality and ground clearance?

Maverick,

If your car is the one I'm thinking of, it has the 18" Argents, right?

I think we are talking about the same one. I am trying to figure out if the 18s are as functional as the 17 because I need to go over a wide variety of pavement qualities in Hawaii.

What is the best performance exhaust set up that will not piss off everyone (due to excessively loud exhaust noise)when I drive at all times of the night?

The Magnaflow set up that Roush uses is pretty damn sweet... Mate that to an x-pipe.. I think you would be impressed.

2 pennys.

Did you get this car from a dealer in Illinois?
As far as the 17 and 18's go, I don't think there would be much differance, it's the profile of the tire that makes it a harder ride, and suspention as well
Low profile tires+tight suspention=Kindney transplant!
Your car will more than likely have the S3 suspention and if it has the 18"chromes with the 265/35 front 295/35 rear, you'll be just fine

Welcome!

Sounds like you made a wise choice in your purchase. Seems as though the exhaust question has been answered, I would like to throw in there that if you do chose to get an x-pipe go with a catted x, think you'd be more pleased with it.

Pics as soon as it arrives.
