LOWEST SPRINGS v6?

Alright, I got the stage 1 springs. Looks nice but crap.

I would not mind going lower and softer for looks. Lets face it, a V6 is just as fast as a V8 when parked so I'm not too keen on performance series springs.

Anyway, I was just wondering if any v6 owners out there had success with other brand springs and again I'm going for a lower tucked version, possibly kenny brown or eibach. Your thoughts....

I have the Motorsport springs from Ford but I feel the front could be a little lower, too. It looks nice but I think a more racing stance would be appropriate. I personally would like to see a drop more like Shay's S3 (for example). I think hes running the standard Roush springs though, its just the V8 that puts more weight on the front end and makes it lower. Good luck getting any feedback from here though, because most people run the Roush springs (even in the S1s) or own V8s.

For whatever reason, his looks a good bit lower than mine, that car doesnt roll, looks like it just glides accross the ground dunno what the difference is though.

Dude, as I said that is what I have. You may be able to get an idea of what they look like if you click the link in my sig (though the pics are somewhat older and I have updated ones to upload).

Markass, you're right his does look lower.

As far as I know, the Roush V6 and V8 springs are different. When you look at springs, most are for the V8 cars (and their weight). Kenny Brown, H&R and Steeda all have good V6 springs.
For the lowest drop, look into coil overs. I had the Ground Pounder set up with the drag rate springs (b/c the V6 is so light). I had six inches up drop at the twist of a wrench. Obviously, I couldn't drive that low, but it looked good when it was just sitting there. The rear wheels tuck in nice, the front off set is a little wrong to get them all the way in the fender, but you can get close.

D&D Motorsports and UPR both sell some pretty cheap ones. I got mine from USA Motorsports, only because it was local and I could pick them up.
The install could be a do-it-yourself project if you're up for it. Just requires removal of brakes, swaybars, steering, shocks/struts and the springs - if you have the stuff to do that, you're set. Most of it is done with basic hand tools, except the spring compressor. But, eventhat you can get your hands on.
A shop will probably charge you $250-$300. But get c/c plates and have a four wheel alignment and camber check done right away when you're done.
