Working out some Bugs!

Well I finally got my car back and running awesome, but i think i have a few adjustments to make. I got the S/C back from magnuson they rebuilt the whole thing and ported it a little bit. I also had them install the 2.8 pulley from Marc. I put everything together and the car is sick, but sometimes it seems that the boost is dumping around 4K. My buddy said that I might just be spinning and it hits the rev limiter and dumps the boost, but i think that it is something different. If I roll around 30 mph and slam it, kind of hesitates and the car almost seems like it has traction control on when it gets to around 4K. Sometimes though it pulls all the way through like a bad out of hell. Anyone have any ideas?

My idea is... take it easy on the beast for awhile and enjoy ... dont go breaking things... cruise for hotties... not hot tires..

Are you sure you put everything back in the right place on the install?
Can you show some real good pics for me to look at?

I am thinking the vacuum hosing to the bypass valve might be backwards.
Or you may have a vacuum leak.

that is definitly possible, i will take a picture when i get home. thanks for the help. What vacum lines could be reversed. What excatly do you want me to take a picture of. the back front side?

yes ever since i put the car together i had the new CAI on it. The car pulls awesome, but it almost seems that the belt is slipping. But i have the 100mm idler pullies to cut down on the belt slipage, but that i was it feels like almost like its trying to go but something is restricting it.

boost wont dump off like your friend stated when you hit your rev limiter.

I agree, it does sond like a vaccuum line is leaking, or off. Take it back to the place that did all the work and explain to them what is happening.

Have you had the densochareger on all the time or just since you installed the pulley.
You might need to dyni it and see whats up.

There is a dynoday Sat in Clearwater at James.
Joe can tell you how to get there its 30 or 40 for 2 runs and A/F,so you can see whats up on a dyno.

Alright guys no need to worry, I brought it to my buddy's shop today and he drove the car and said right away that i needed plugs. He had the plugs so we put them in and WOW it brought out the beast in this car. Man O Man i cant believe the HP that this thing it pushing.
