Got my body kit and side exhaust today and...

...What is Roush smoking??

I got it through work, using our distributor that handles Roush. I special ordered the entire stage 3 kit with exhaust....the distributor put it on a stock order so I know all of this came directly from Roush. Showed up and its not only a Stage 2 kit instead of 3....but the front valance has been painted green and the side skirts are painted white!! There's even wax residue and stress cracks! So I get a used wrong kit. hmmm.

Anyway, getting it all worked out right now...but just needed to vent. I was all excited to see the Roush boxes show up and then this. The exhaust is correct though!

LOL...I'm sorry, I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing at Roush. That's fairly shitty of Roush unloading their already painted products on people so they can lower their stock quantity on hand. I remember a while back when a birdie said they had lots of S2 body parts still mostly all painted. You should slap them on, send a picture to Roush and say "Thanks! You're right, I didn't need to paint them..."

That sounds like Ferrari.

Their spare parts are the pieces too messed up to make them fit on the production line. Rejects become OEM replacement parts.

From what I know this is normal. They get the kits off of extra Roushes, that's why they're painted different colors. It shouldn't matter since you'll have to get them sanded, prepped and painted anyway, just as you would if they came unpainted.
