Question Wing Delete

Im thinking about removing the wing?
I like the way the standard GT looks w/ out a wing but I am
not sure how the delete will effect the whole picture of Roush.
I visualize it in my head and it looks pretty mean, let me know your
opinions or comments

Not mine just PM the owner of the thread and I am sure he will hook you up. I have a Cobra R wing looks mean to me some like it some dont but its mine I bought it I drive it so dont matter what they think. I say that cause many will probably say stick with your wing but if you really dont want it then do the wing delete...

Well well, life comes full circle! "There is nothing new under the sun" Hehe, chuckle & LOL. Long ago cars did not have wings, then we were blessed with an abundance of wings. At first they looked silly to me, I even rejected one on my new 69 Mach 1, and the Plymouth Superbird brought gales of laughter from my lips.

Then slowly they became more common & were entered into the mainstream, I recently would not consider buying a Honda Accord or a Camry unless they had a wing! Wings were now fully integrated into normal society. Even on cars that could not produce speed enough to ruffle a sparrow. Performance cars didn't look normal unless they had a wing, everybody had a wing!

Now the performance buffs are removing their wings and declaring how cool they are, (no put down intended here, they ARE cool looking). This is just a comment on the changing social viewpoints. I love it.

In my opinion both styles are good looking, but just as I get firmly fixed on a style that I like, it changes. So go for it if YOU like it, Have fun.

Me, rambling..... Mustanger

Its gonna loosen up the back end without the additional downforce.

I heard our wings do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING but add looks. Until you get up to speeds its worthless and even then you need a Cobra R or Steeda...

Um, I wouldn't go the Lowe's plastic plug way.

Metal, welder, filler, paint is the way to go.

Downforce

I've heard the same thing about the wings (no downforce at speeds lower than 120-130 or so), but not completely sure I believe it. At freeway speeds I could feel a bit of a difference with the S3 body kit over the stock GT stuff. But hey, here in San Diego freeway speeds easily exceed 80-85 at times.

Ditto. Do not like Mustangs without wings definitely won't like a Roush without it. Just my $.02 but I have to think you'll get a lot more looks and comments with a wing rather than without it.
