A roush wing will directly bolt into the same holes that my Cobra R wing is in now? Is this true? Its a 2000 stang...PLEASE let me know...also what wing would fit? theres wayyyy to many...again, i dont wanna be filling my holes in my trunk again, so what would cover the holes from my Cobra R Wing?
thanks!!

You might want to call Roush to verify this, but I'm pretty sure that the four-post wing will work. I say this, because I believe that the 01 and newer wings also bolt right into the Cobra R holes.

Borrowed this from the reader's Roushes section of this website.....

Anybody else chime in, if I'm wrong, or if you can confirm this. I have a 99 with a 3-post wing so I'm not in my "I've done this before" mode.

I think it is a little off... sorry. I have the wing that I just installed on my 2000 and it did fit in the 2000 wing holes on the out side but the holes inside were a guest-a-ment.

The 99s and 2000s had holes on the outside only. The closer in set of holes were for the 2001s and newer models. That's when Ford made the 35th anniversary style spoiler standard instead of the wing like our cars had.

"sgtfirormsg" pit a Cobra R wing on his Stage 3 after removing the 4-post RPP wing. Check with him, he would be able to give you an affirmative.

Sorry I went from GT wing to R wing no help there (no drilling)....well if you dont have to drill from GT wing to Roush wing then your golden...dont know the answer to that but I am sure more people have done that here with several Roush conversions...

You put an "R" wing on your Roush? Thats cool. I like the look of that wing but I'm afraid putting anything on the car that isnt offered by Roush as an option would later devalue the car. To bad cause I really like that wing.

I say go for it. I didnt buy the car for what it would be worth a million years from now lol. I wont have it forever or put it in some storage to collect dust (unless I am deployed).

Yup the RPP wing uses the same holes as the GT wing.........

EXCEPT!

The RPP wing has four additional holes drilled into the stock decklid, two on the extreme edges. So, if you take off the RPP wing and put something else on, you WILL HAVE 4 holes to fill in and re-paint.
