need major help..
so i went out to Telegraph tonight and was doing a little racing nothing huge just screwin around and i come up to a lgiht throw it into neutral and the light turns green, and im stuck there cuz my car wouldn't go into gear at ALL...so i let my clutch cool off cuz im thinking it just heated up and is sticking, but i get it into second and start from there to get out of the road and 2nd and 3rd are the only gears i had to drive all the way home, any idea what is wrong with it????? please help

Try putting it in 1st with the car off, then starting it to see if you can at least do that... So you didn't have 1st, 4th, and 5th?

im a chick not a man lol, just playin, no i cant get it into 1st when the car is off, i got 1-4 on the way home but i was forcing it into gear each time, and it wont even go into 5th of reverse if i payed it too...

She has a T-45 with some bent shifting forks....You can replace those fairly cheap if that is all that is wrong with it!! jim

00 4.6 = T45. Could be a lot of things, even down to the shifter being misaligned. Check fluid, play with it some more. But you say you got it into 4th but had to manhandle it, so probably either synchro or shift fork problem.

hell no, i BITCH handled that thing lol...but yeah i tried it again this morning and its gricinding some friends are saying that the clutch might be stuck or i screwed up some of the shift forks which will be at my cost if thats the problem, but i have a few people coming over right now to look at it so ill get back to you guys later...

well i my friends and i took it apart last night and they said that it was the clutch, im getting a new one today but if thats not the problem ill have a new clutch and yet another problem, ill get back to you guys when i get the new clutch in which should eb a few days so talk to ya'll then, ill be livin in my garage!
