what rpm's to launch at

i'm takin my stage 1 to the track sunday for the first time and was wonderin what rpm's you guys with stage 1 and 2's launch at...with traction control on or off...thanks

I usually tach up to about 2.5-3 and feather the clutch. You'll have to make a few passes before you learn how to launch your car. Remember... it is different than the street because of the chemicals on the surface plus you'll have a totally new adrenaline flowing through your body on the track.

I have ran 3 times this summer and my 60 foot times have improved every run. Just have fun with it!

when i had the roush i would launch at 2k. any more than that and i would spin. and definetly take the tc off.

right around 2.5, with easy letting out on the clutch... dont just dump it... after a few practice runs youll get it
