haven't seen the ford racing one's personally or a pic, but i just put in the roush ones and if you have the roush gauges they match up perfectly at night, plus i got it also to cont. the roush theme. not sure who ford racing uses for their guages but the roush ones are autometeres.

How difficult was the installation of the oil pressure gauge?

Couldn't tell ya,i had a shop do it for me.I had no time.I had them install a copper line instead of the plastic tubing that comes with it,figured better for longevity.Yet how bad could it be,just running the line to the right place would be the hardest.

Good thinking. So I'm assuming you got the mechanical one then, right?

Cool. I actually like doing all my own work but I don't want to catch my car on fire, lol.

BTW whatever happened to us hooking up for a beer when you came into town?

Right. They did a good job except the mounting. They screwed it in to the pillar, looks like crap and they are going to redo it and epoxy.

haha, i hear ya bro, i am the same but being 2500 miles away i just can't wrench on her like i want to.

well, wouldn't ya know that for one i got all tied up with watching my little cousins for a few days, and then the next thing you know i have to turn all my attention to my girlfriend. so needless to say, i had all this time on my hands before i got down there, but turns out i didn't. promise though, when i come down next, i won't have the same agenda as i did before and it will be all relaxation. i had a beer when i was there, at PF Changs, so it goes to show i didn't even get to hit up the riverwalk or any bars!

I'd make them redo it also. After all, it is a Roush and deserves nothing but the best.

I don't know,I just wanted to make sure that it had a long life.Plastic gets brittle with age.Again,I did this for my own piece of mind..

Just to let you know I got the manual boost/vacuum Roush gauge for under $90. This was over a year ago but I imagine pricing is not too much different.

As stated before PM TxRoush for the best prices on Roush stuff. Trust me.
