1st Roush problems....

So... its like 85 degrees and I decide to take the S3 to work. I am roling down 270 and the car just doesn't feel right not only does it not feel right but I am not getting any SC. Well I limp my car to my friends house then we limp it to his friends shop in Springfield.

I have a fouled plug and he said my SC belt needed to replaced because it was slipping... it was a mess. So... he had the crap in stock....

BTW anyone know about NGK Platinum spark plugs? He gave them to me free...

Anyway... his appointment was late (600hp cobra) so we slapped my baby up on the Dyno.....

84 degrees 26% Humidity A/F 12.0-11.6 SAE

3 runs

Run 1 401.7 hp 411.1 tq
Run 2 400.1 hp 409.1 tq
Run 3 401.5 hp 410.6 tq

Final numbers

401.1 hp 410.2 tq

Car Mods:
Smaller Pulley
3.73 gears
Shorty headers
Bassani X
Magna flow exhaust
Demolet 100 mm CAI
Lightning 90 mm MAF
SCT Tune
New SC belt
NGK Spark plugs
"Fnsweet sticker - 10 hp by itself"

Anyway.........

As I am doing my last pull the Cobra shows up..... the thing sounds like an idling race car.... smells of race fuel.....

I watch the first run... had to leave to get to work on time... but the first run was well over 640hp

Anyway... I thought I would share...... and I know... I am getting to the limit of the engine.....

Man, nice digits, gotta be pleased with those numbers! I guess those rods may be able to handle more than 420 HP as expected. You gotta be pushing more than that at the crank. Nice work.

BTW, that Cobra HP number is nice, but if the IRS doesn't hook up, it only counts on a dyno.

LOL, ok, so he is actually closer to me than you are. We should all consider this show, I went last year and there was a great turnout of Shelby's and other stangs / fords. I was only 1 of 2 Roush mustangs, the other was an 05' Stage 2.

No rice or bikes allowed to be entered, only Ford powered vehicles can be entered, but you can bring the rice on down and park it! Here is the link!

Why the hell is the Roush in Tx is you live in Fishkill??????????

it's the 6th annual Butler show

b/c i wasn't going to have it sit in a garage here during the winter, plus it was better off there for my short time here. i got the acura just for this stint, now i don't know if i am gonna sell it or not.

Well the winter is over boy, so do you intend on bringing her up? I know alot of good cruising roads near me & up near you around Bear Mountain, but the Acura rice won't cut it, I don't cruise w/ ricers

Strong Roush. . . must be the SCT tune Any pics of the Demolet set up?

360R. . . I am not too far from Butler - but I thought there was an SVT gtg same day somewhere on Rte 17 - which I was thinking of hitting. Don't break the car out too soon, we might get snow on friday
