440A Dash Cluster on a Classic????

I want to install the same cluster setup as the 440a has on my Classic.
The thing is i want to keep my face guages installed Due to the fact that they are signed by roush.
So what i want to do is just change the Cluster cover to the one that the 440a has inorder to have a boost guage and an intercooler temp guage!

Is this even possible?

I looked on the RPP site and i found one that might be the 440A cluster cover which adds the rasied guages but im not sure!
Do any of you guys know where could i find the 440A Cluster?

Thanks
ROB

If you're talking about what I'm thinking you are.... all it is is a guage bezel with the 2 pods. Contact one of the parts whores on the site and ask them for a price on that and the guages.

Hmmm.... well, everybody has a different meaning of the word "difficult"... lol
It'll take a little time, but it's not something that's that hard to do.
As for the I/C temp gauge, it's actually a fuel pressure guage.
Is this what you're talking about? http://www.roushparts.com/detail.asp...ALL&subcat=ALL

The gauges on the 440A are the boost and Fuel pressure. The boost is easy, the fuel pressure is a PITA and expensive as you need a fuel isolator.

Well is it possible to put a temp guage for the intercooler instead of the fuel guage?

Thats what I did, but I got pod gauges, can't say that I've seen much of a intercoller temp reading yet, maybe this summer.

It is, but thats why you need the isolator, it coverts mechanical to electrical.

You can't be serious.....
Unless something has changed that I don't know about, here's how it generally works: The line from the isolator to the gauge is filled with a fluid, usually water/antifreeze mixture, which the pressure from the fuel is transfered to this fluid at the isolator, which gives you your pressure reading.
Ain't no transfer of fuel pressure to electricity!

That would be a mechanical one Markass. They do have one with an isolator that is a transducer (electrical)and changes the signal to an electical input.

It is generally illegal to have a mechanical fuel pressure guage located within the passenger compartment for obvious reasons.
